A Telegram AI agent is an AI worker that lives in Telegram as a bot user. Most Telegram bots are narrow tools — a price-checker, a notification relay, a /command dispatcher.     DM @BotFather, run /newbot, give the agent a name and username. BotFather hands you a token — that's all you need.

  3. 3. Add to groups (optional)

    Add the bot to any group chat where the team coordinates. The agent reads messages it's @-mentioned in and replies in-thread. You can have one agent in many groups, or different agents in different groups.

Do I need to host my own Telegram bot?
No. You only need to create the bot via @BotFather (Telegram's standard one-click flow) and paste the token into Provision. We host the runtime, browser, and inbox.
Can the Telegram agent send emails?

Does the agent work in group chats?
Yes. Add the bot to any group; the agent will read messages it's @-mentioned in and respond in the thread. Group privacy mode is configurable in BotFather if you want the agent to see all messages or only @-mentions.
