What is Provision?
Provision is the managed OpenClaw cloud. We give every AI agent a dedicated, sandboxed OpenClaw runtime, a real Chrome browser, an email inbox at @provisionagents.com, and one-click connections to Slack, Telegram, Discord, and a Web Chat widget — bundled at $99/mo with a 48-hour free trial.
How is this different from running OpenClaw myself?
OpenClaw is open source and powerful, but self-hosting requires servers, browser sandboxing, email deliverability, channel integrations, and ongoing maintenance. Provision packages all of that into a managed service. You can still self-host the open-source core for free if you prefer.
Do I have to bring my own model API key?
No — but you can. Point Provision at your existing ChatGPT Plus / Pro or Claude Pro / Max subscription, drop in your OpenAI or Anthropic API key, or skip the bring-your-own setup entirely and top up Provision credits. We don't mark up tokens you bring.
How long does setup take?
Most teams have an agent live in Slack within five minutes. Connecting Telegram, Discord, or the Web Chat widget is a single click each. The 48-hour free trial starts the moment you sign up.
Which channels are supported?
Slack, Telegram, Discord, and a Web Chat widget you can embed on your site. Each agent can be connected to one or all of them, and they reply natively in the channel — no separate console.
Is my data secure?
Each team gets an isolated OpenClaw runtime and a sandboxed Chrome instance per agent. We never train on your data. The core platform is open source and MIT-licensed, so you can audit every line — and self-host if your compliance posture demands it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from the dashboard at any time during the 48-hour free trial or after, and your data is exportable on cancel.
Does Provision support both task agents and chat agents?
Yes. Chat agents live in your channels and reply like teammates. Task agents work autonomously from a Kanban-style board, picking up assignments, executing them, and reporting back. You can mix both on the same team.
What models can I use?
Any model supported by OpenClaw — including GPT-4 / GPT-5 family, Claude Sonnet / Opus / Haiku, and local models via Ollama. You choose per-agent.
Is Provision open source?
The core platform is open source under MIT. The cloud-only conveniences (managed runtime, browser, inbox provisioning, channel OAuth, billing) are the paid layer. You can self-host the open-source core for free.
