Provision (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Provision platform at provision.ai (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, agent configurations, session duration, browser type, operating system, and IP address.

Agent Interaction Data

When your AI agents operate on your behalf, we process data related to their activities, including messages sent and received through connected channels (Slack, Telegram, Discord, email), web browsing activity, scheduled task execution logs, and workspace files you upload. This data is processed solely to provide the Service and is not used to train AI models.

Team Information

If you create or join a team, we collect team names, member email addresses, roles, and invitation information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process your subscription payments and manage billing
  • Deploy and manage AI agents on your behalf
  • Send you transactional emails (account verification, password resets, billing receipts)
  • Monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of the Service
  • Respond to your support requests and inquiries
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

Important: Data processed by your AI agents is used exclusively to provide the Service. We do not use your agent interaction data, messages, workspace files, or browsing activity to train or improve AI models.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party providers for payment processing (Stripe), cloud infrastructure, AI model providers, and messaging platform integrations. These providers access data only as necessary to perform their services.
  • AI model providers: When your agents execute tasks, prompts and context are sent to AI model providers (such as Anthropic). These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session, remember your authentication state, and store your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the Service.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Agent interaction data, including messages and activity logs, is retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing agreements). Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being purged.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. Agent infrastructure is provisioned on isolated servers with firewall protections. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights (California Residents)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to know: You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete: You can request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct: You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to opt out: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide an opt-out mechanism.
  • Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Your data may be processed on servers located in the United States and other countries where our infrastructure providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to these locations. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised policy on our website and updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
