Is the Provision Slack agent a real Slack user?
Yes — once you authorize Slack OAuth, the agent appears in your workspace as a user with a name, avatar, and channel access. They can be @-mentioned, DMed, added to threads, and removed from channels just like a human teammate.
Does the Slack agent need a separate model API key?
Not necessarily. You can plug in your existing ChatGPT Plus / Pro or Claude Pro / Max subscription, drop in your own OpenAI / Anthropic API key, or use Provision credits — whichever you prefer. We don't mark up tokens you bring.
Can the same agent be in Slack and other channels at the same time?
